The egg credit card is a popular card that can be applied for online.

The criteria you will need to meet to apply for this type of card includes:

• You must be at least 18 years of age.
• You must be a permanant UK resident
• You must provide your address for the past two years
• You need Internet access and use of an email address
• You will also need a UK bank or building society account as you will be expected to pay direct debits.
• You should not have held or hold an Egg card in the Past 12 months.

Setup in 1998, Egg is now listed on the London stock exchange and a high percentage of the company is owned by Prudential.
